    M&P Shield 9mm OWB Holster

    My DeSantis holds the grip very close. I have tried and have a couple paddle holsters (Fobus) they are very convenient, but they don't hold the gun very close.

    What back strap do you use on your M&P?

    I use the small on my 9c, and the med. on 9mm full size. The palm swell at the bottom of the med. points better on the full size.

    I really like the Desantis mini scabbard. I have one each for my LC9, M&p 9c, and shield.

    Opinions on M&P 9 vs Glock 9

    I bought a G 26 first, It was a fine gun but just did not fit my hand. I even thought about having a grip job done on it. Instead I sold it and bought a M&P 9c. It fits my hand just right, and is every bit a good as the Glock.

    I bought my Shield 9 for less than MSRP. I really like it, and would pay more than MSRP if I had to.

    I checked Buds about 10:30 to see if they still had the M&P 15 OR in stock. They didn't have them , but they showed Shields in stock. I immediately ordered a 9 mm. I have been on the waiting list for several months and never got an email. I have been impatiently waiting for Buds to have them...

    I traded a G 26 for a M&P 9c, But I still kept my trusty 9VE, If S&W made a Sigma compact I would buy one.

    I sold my G 26, and bought a M&P 9c. The Glock was a good gun, but just didn't fit my hand. The M&P is just as good and fits just right.
