    National Dog Day

Exactly! I thought I was done getting more dogs, and then I saw Midnight as a puppy in the Irving Animal Shelter, and I was hooked. I shouldn't have looked, but I think I secretly wanted another black dog! The pictures above, of Sailor Boy (in what I call the dead cricket position - which...

Good Shooting Caps for Ear Muffs

I've never had a problem with the top of a ball cap being pressed down by ear muffs. It never even occurred to me. Interesting!!!

    Uniform Hat/Cap

I don't recall anyone in the Army or the Navy pushing "squared" wearing of the "combination cover" but, offhand, I don't recall anyone wearing one tilted, either. It didn't take a lot of hair to wear that cover straight, and I would have felt weird tilting it. See below. The Dallas Police...

Do you have a belt that looks like this ?

My daily wear gun belt has more marks on it from cell phone clips than anything else. I noticed that again recently and laughed because I 95% pocket carry, right side, with the phone on the left. :sneaky:

    History!

Welcome to the campfire. :coffee: Nobody I know spends much time anymore on Daniel Boone, or the others, except here in Texas Davy Crockett remains a very much remembered legend.

I mostly dislike TV commercials. Happily, recording my favorite shows allows me to speed through them.

    National Dog Day

My current two: Morticia - so called because it took the SPCA 18 months to get her adoptable. She's a sweetheart but W E I R D!!! Midnight - my 7th black dog, number ten in a long string of great dogs: Magnum and Crockett - gone, but not forgotten, two wonderful dogs:

Passed on a 64-3 with 3" barrel and real Tyler T-grip

Interesting!!!! I had a Model 64 4" with a bobbed hammer: It had the worst trigger I ever owned; I couldn't stand it. So, I had it modified and now it's a great little 2" K frame: If I see a 3" I'll think about it, solely because I have a 3" L frame that I really do like:

CCW Reciprocity in Washington DC!!! I hope so!!!

HUH???!!! They're going to allow open carry of long arms? Something is wrong in that story. Not true. Unless things have changed, there are two lines to enter the Texas State Capitol building. One is for citizens with a Texas license to carry. The other line is for people that Texas has not...

Hello from IL. Would like your advice!

Welcome to the campfire. I have a variety of both with and without the lock, and I don't see any difference. My 2 cents: An NAA mini is a useless toy. If it had a useful hole somewhere, I'd wear it like jewelry. :ROFLMAO:

What was your first Smith and Wesson??

4" Model 19. 1980, I think, maybe 1981. I had it nearly 20 years before I blew it up with over-loaded ammunition I purchased at a gun show. 1997 2" Model 10 followed. 1981. Too many after that to be able to list in chronological order. :geek:
