R8 means 8 rounds, which is quite nice for a revolver...(N frame) :D

Have you noticed, it seems that the S&W 327 M&P R8 is beginning his career on TV show in the hands of Maggie in The walking dead serie? Nice... That is mine, so, I'm glad of it... (Well, even if it is not very realistic to have that type of rare gun in apocalyptic zombie world...) :)

I own a R8 since one year now, no regrets!! That's a very cool gun, yes, and I enjoy the DA shooting, even with one hand. I have really good results with it ..(except with my weak hand, but I have not at all habit to shoot with it). Again, perfect balance and sweet trigger!!

As a french, I could add that we are not afraid, just in anger (and we will never kneel in front of these guys!!!) Just now, it seems that there is some shooting in the south of Paris, 2 people hurt (including a policewoman) probably connected to the slaughter of yesterday...

My choice was the same : a 686 or a TTR8,...I have finally get the M&P R8 wich is TTR8 brother. I'm totally glad with it and astonished by the results I get with it, SA and DA are really sweet and the product is just perfect, I only hope it will be durable for many years. Now, if you want to...

I have gone to the range yesterday, shoot my R8 in S/A an D/A with very good results! Here in France, shooters consider me as a lucky one, seeing the R8... Yes, that is a wonderful revolver!!! For the moment, no misfires... ( and I will even try it next year for in a shooting competition)
