Model 1006 is getting hard to find

Sure here's the little tool that was in the box. that makes sense on the date since the manual is dated 11/89 and the warranty card. Thanks..

Smith and wesson performance center commander

I agree on the accuracy thing ed. I guess with all the other performance center upgrades night sights fell from the list as a cost saving thing I guess. No matter, still love this one! Have to Amazon some night sights but no biggie....

Thanks guys for the response. Wow what a tack driver and sweet shooter! 200+ down range of mixed brand ammo and not one issue pretty impressive for me anyway. I'm digging it alot!!

Smith and wesson performance center commander

Hi all, just picked up this pc commander. Very excited to take it to the range this a.m and put some rounds through it! Anybody know if the scandium/aluminum frames are +p rated? The manual is kinda vague on that. How well do the frames hold up regarding feed ramps? In example some aggressive...

    19-4

So am I assuming correctly that 125 gr 38 special or +p are ok? Just not 125gr. 357 rite?

    19-4

Thanks guys. I will probably shoot more .38's than .357's anyway. So it's good too know

    19-4

I picked me up a nice 19-4 today in nickel serial # 46k18## anyone have approximate date of manufacture? Anything I should know about this model? Best load for it? I'm assuming 125 gr .357 is out being a k frame? also is 158 gr magnums ok? The grips are numbered to the gun so I guess original...

    Perfected .38

Well after looking at it. it appears to be refinished very well done but not original. The slightest rounding of top edges gives it away and the color a blue/grey Belgian rust blue not the hot salt black s&w blue. Also faint nickel on inside center of recoil shield so original nickel finish. I...

    Perfected .38

Hold the phone! Looking at stock pictures on Google the emblem is on right side. I will look at it tomorrow might still be a good one to hang on too? The screw slots and barrel engraving looks good in pic so tomorrow will tell....

    Perfected .38

Thanks old chief, that's what I suspected with out the emblem and just to good of shape. I will pass on it at that price for now. As it is an oddball of sorts to me.

    Perfected .38

Hey there,I have a chance to buy this perfected. 38 for $400.00 not real familiar with these I know they were the last of the top breaks. I know the seller he sent these pics of one side of it looks good. But could be a refinish? No s&w logo on frame in pic. I would shoot it once and put in safe...
