i plan to load rounds for a extreme hunter with 12 inch barrel and a ruger carbine with 18 inch barrell. i also plan on using 296. i was wanting to start at 21.7 and with a 240 gr jhc. any in put to this would be appreciated.

usaa has a good policy for guns but you have to fill out a packet they send you. and send it back i keep a usb with photos and serial number and barrel lengths and any custom features just for it with modern book values on it.

any one heard of five inch barrel 29 -2? Have read in the 3rd standard catalog that they were made. But don't know how many might have been made. Or what value would be for one. serial number puts it made in 80 i believe.
