I have not checked in that location for proof marks. The customer let me take pics to help ID the gun but he took it home with him. I didn't even think to look under there.
I have a customer that brought this revolver in to the shop to help identify it. I assume that it is going to be a .44 Russian or .44 SW chambering. The short underlug and two screws in the latch have me stumped. The barrel is just under 7" long. Most of the stamping is gone. I can just make...
I just had a customer walk through the door with a Smith model 41 that I had a hard time finding information out on. The serial number is T1025. At first, the serial number wasn't making sense.... until I went home and retrieved the Smith and Wesson bible. It shows that known serial number...
I have a 610 4" and I love it. I also have a Glock 20. It seems like the 610 has a little milder recoil than the Glock. They are a great gun. I would buy it if I were you.

I am also a faithful follower of Mr Remington's 870. When I got to handle a Mossberg shockwave at the Bill Hicks Show in Minneapolis, I was hooked on the layout of the gun. The Shockwave grip lends itself easily to the top mounted safety. When you put a regular pistol grip on a Mossberg, I...
Probably a Ruger American Predator in .308 with a SWR Specwar 762 suppressor topped with a Burris Black Diamond 3-12 scope. Standard loads hit all the hash marks in the scope out to 500yds every time.
If you go to your local gun emporium and take a look at them, the 938 firing pins stick out only about 10-15 thousandth from the firing pin retaining plate. Take a look at a regular 1911 and there is about 20-40 thousandths, depending on make and model. Just my 2 cents. They are great guns...
