Actually , I feel the best source is " cast your own " . I have used that Lyman mold for eons . Mine is just a 2 cav , drops bullets @ .360 .

The problem is getting lead at an affordable price. If a person has to buy it from Rotometals or somewhere else, just the alloy is as much as buying them all made.

Luckily I have a small pile of lead.

Just wondering...........
are you going to try that bullet at max, warp speed at 1288 fps in your revolver ?

What are you using this large lead bullet for ?

The 357 is a great revolver..........
just curious.

In regards to buying casting alloy ? Missouri Bullet co. sells casting alloy a lot cheaper than rotometals . I cast my own so I can get " the " bullet I want , in design and diameter . My 38spl/357mag bullets get sized .359 , 41 mag - .411 , 44 bullets- .431 , 45Colt - .454 .

I deal with Matt's bullets. He has an incredible variety of bullets, ships them out fast and is a pleasure to deal with. You can even request a specific hardness range. I just ordered more bullets from him about 10 minutes ago.
