Ouch!! I bought a new one also, put ~1000 rounds thru it so far without an issue. I would send it back to S&W. The Federal Automatch runs great thru mine.

I bought 2 boxes of Federal AutoMatch to shoot in my new 15-22. I am impressed. I have shot all 650 rounds in the past 2 days without a single hiccup. Zero issues at all. For 17.99 a box, i am going to go buy the rest they have in stock!! Anyone else have a different experience with this ammo?

Well i went with the new sport model with the threaded barrel and..... LOVE IT!! Brought it home and put 200 down the pipe in the backyard. Time for a good cleaning

Can anyone provide me with a link to where i can buy a quad rail that will fit a 15-22? From my understanding a normal "AR15" rail wont fit. Correct me if im wrong. Thanks guys

Im not exactly sure what my preferences are....lol. What are the advantages of a threaded barrel? Sorry to the newbie questions... never owned an AR

New to ARs completly and looking to get a m&p 15-22 to learn with. Any advice on which version is appreciated. My thoughts so far are looking toward the MOE version.
