Yeah, I've noticed that just in the past few days. Everything is *poof.* Years ago there used to be something that could be bought to basically convert a regular 15-22 CH to an ambi CH. Anyone remember that? Any of those things out there?

First of all, chill. I have well over 2,000 + rounds through it and have had no major issues with the bolt. Second of all IF you get brass to your arm which is inevitable it doesn't hurt much. Best bet is to get a brass catcher. I have tried a deflector however I had too much brass bounce back...

I have this Leupold scope on my AR currently. I'm planning on putting this and my AD mount on my 15-22. Can this be done since this scope I thought was designed specifically for an AR?

Took it out to 50 with my red dot. Problem is that my eyes SUCK. I knew I needed to get into an eye doctor but didn't know it was this bad. I'd like to get out to 100. Back on topic...I'm thinking about switching my current scope and AD mount I have on my AR to my 15-22 and getting a higher...

Probably going to get out to 50 yards or so then. Gotta scrounge around for some short mags for table work then.

It's going to be a range/SHTF AR. I've got a red dot that I want to put on it. Depending on what I get I may change the butt and/or grip but other than that I'm not really sure what I'll change.

...and the weight issue is something I'm thinking about. There is a gun show about an hour or so away from my locale in 2 weeks that I am going to. I did notice that the RRA ARs I am looking at are 7.2 lb and 7.0 lb which compared to the M&P15T is a bit heavier. Would that difference in weight...

Are there any issues as far as carbine length versus mid length gas systems? I've heard that carbine tends to have some issues.
