    Opinions on triggers

I have the Wilson Combat TR-TTU's in both my M&P 15 and 15-22. While they're a bit pricey they're a really nice unit with clean, crisp breaks. It's a drop-in installation taking 5 minutes or less, and that included the time to watch the YouTube install video. In the 15 I'm a little over 7k...

    M&P 9L Pro C.O.R.E. with Trijicon RMR RM02 Review

I just installed a Trijicon RMR RM02 (6.5 MOA) red dot on my S&W M&P 9L Pro C.O.R.E. and thought I'd provide an initial review. The 6.5 MOA dot is perfect for a handgun. I'm glad I didn't go with the 3.25 MOA as I think that would've been too hard to acquire a target and better suited for rifle...

help me on red dot and magnifier

I have the Eotech 512 with the Vortex VMX-3T magnifier. It's not a cheap route to go but it works really well. Being able to adjust the focus via the Vortex allows me to compensate for my eyesight and gives me a nice, crisp reticle pattern.

    Shield 40 Mishap

That was my first thought as well. I've put over 2,000 rounds through my .40 Shield without any issues, no FTEs or FTFs. It's been extremely reliable. I run only factory ammo through it. John "No one should make decisions for us when it comes to guns and gun carry. If we do things we're not...

New to the platform - advice?

+1 I had to chuckle to myself when I read gotfish's post. How true it is! I don't know how many times I've added something to mine and then said to myself, "Ahhh, now it's complete and I'm happy with it." My add-on's to "complete" my M&P 15-22 outpaced the cost of the original rifle a long time...

Post your aftermarket trigger group experiences....

I have a Wilson Combat Tactical Trigger Unit (TTU), Single Stage, Semi-Auto installed in my M&P 15-22. Although it's expensive it drops right in (almost literally) and is very crisp, responsive, and reliable.

How Do You Move Safety Selector MP15-22?

I know, I know, this is an old post but good advise apparently is timeless because this was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to replace the stock safety selector with a BAD ambidextrous safety selector and this step-by-step procedure did the trick. Mission accomplished! Thanks, John...

    M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Although I liked the look of the M&P 15-22 MOE Magpul right out of the box, as guys we have to spruce it up a little to make it just the way we want things. My M&P 15-22 is now uniquely mine! I added the following: - Magpul MOE RVG Grip (foregrip) - UTG Low Profile Riser Mount - UTG 3-9x32...

    10-round long magazines

Bought four 10-round long mags, took the springs out per this procedure (seen a couple of other folks outline the same), lined 'em all up on my work bench, using a screw driver and hammer gave each pin one good whack (one took two whacks), and done! Took less than a minute to knock all four pins...

    40 Cal Shield

Yeah, I spend a fair amount of time at the range and training so I can hold my own. It's also my concealed carry so I practice with it once a week and put maybe 100+ rounds through it each time. The indoor range is out to 25 yards. The outdoor range stretches it (and me) to 50 yards.

    Leapers Red Dot any good??

I have the Leapers Golden Image 30mm Red/Green Dot Sight (SCP-RD40RGW) and love it. I haven't had a bit of problem with it. Once dialed in my groupings are within 1" diameter at 25 yards, which is probably influenced more by me than the sight or ammo (meaning with more controlled breathing I'd...

    M&P 22 worth the money?

I'm an M&P fan through and through having a.40 full-size and two .40 Shields so getting the .22LR made sense for me so all of my handguns have the same basic feel, layout, and similar operating characteristics with the exception of recoil and a couple of other minor differences between the .22LR...

    40 Cal Shield

I have two 40 Shields, one with stock sights the other with Big Dots. I also have a full-size M&P 40. Compared to the full-size the Shield's have a little more snap so my grip's slightly tighter but other than that they shoot about the same as their big brother. Because I've got bigger hands I...

    M&P Shield 9mm or .40 S&W

I have two Shield 40's with a combined 1,000+ rounds through them with no issues whatsoever. One has standard sights the other has big dots. I went with 40 because that's my caliber of choice for all my handguns primarily so I only have to inventory one size of ammo. With the ammo frenzy going...
