    Product code help

Can anyone shed some light on Product Code 149139? It supposed to be for a 629 3" with an unfluted cyclinder. I don't see it listed in the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson. Thanks.

    Info on Performance Center 629

Does anyone have any information on a PC 629 3", Product Code 170183? The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson describes it as a 3" Wedge/Red Ramp.

    Bianchi X15 Shoulder Holster

The X15: good, bad or indifferent? I'm thinking of getting one for my 29-2 6-1/2".

    Front of cylinder

Thanks to everyone for the great advice. I think I'll take the conservative approach and just wipe it with a solvent dampened cloth as Dale53 and others suggested. If interested you can see a couple of pics of my newest addition at...

    686-1 Price check

Well, I just purchased the aforementioned 686-1. We met half way at $600. Attached are a couple of photos.

    Front of cylinder

Why the rings around the openings? Shouldn't the front of the cylinder be clean and shiny? Not my gun but one I'm considering buying.

    686-1 Price check

Thanks for the advice. All my other Smiths have the box and papers. Even though I'd prefer it to have all the factory goodies, I'm going to be using it as my primary carry gun so it's not really that important.

    686-1 Price check

I came across a 686-1 2 1/2" Distinguished Combat Magnum, Serial# AWP7xxx in pretty much pristine condition. There is no box or paperwork. The seller wants $650. Is that price high or about right? Also, based on the serial number, when was the gun manufactured? Thanks.

    Case reflocking

Thanks for the info. I guess it's pretty hard to respond to a message if you're not there to receive it.

    Case reflocking

I can't seem to get a response from Joe Cebull. I see his last post was on July 2. When I send him an e-mail, I get an Undeliverable Mail message saying "User mailbox exceeds allowed size: [email protected]" A couple of PMs have gone unanswered too.

WTB 686 2-1/2" Distinguished Combat Magnum

Well, since my quest for a 625 3" Model of 1989 went unfulfilled, I'll just have to try for my other desired revolver. I'm looking for either Product Code 104212 or 104231. ANIB with all the factory goodies (i.e., box, paperwork, etc.).

    WTB 625-3 3"

    Any sellers out there?

    WTB 625-3 3"

In like new condition with all the factory goodies (i.e., box, paperwork, moon clips and cleaning kit). I have some trade candidates if that is of interest to anyone.
