If only one gun? Can't do it...

The closest for me would be the Sig P320, simply because you can buy X - change kits to change the size, caliber, etc. without having to actually buy another gun. I'd still probably want some sort of rifle (such as an M&P Sport 15/22) as well though, even with that.

For those who have carried a long time... scratches?

One caveat on this - if you (like me) have a P320 that has been through the voluntary upgrade, ensure that any slides or X - Change kits you purchase have the upgraded milling work done by the factory. This is necessary due to the corresponding upgrade component in the fire control group. I...

Sent my P320 back to Sig Sauer last night...

That does seem odd. It might be worth giving them a call to see if they have any information. I honestly figured mine would take a lot longer initially.

Sent my P320 back to Sig Sauer last night...

Just an update - I got an email this morning with the tracking information where they are sending my P320 back. It is scheduled to be here tomorrow. That was quick!

Sent my P320 back to Sig Sauer last night...

Very informative video. It's nice to see the details on what the upgrade will entail. Good to see that Sig seems to be doing everything they can to correct the issue. I'm looking forward to see how the upgraded gun does on the range.

Sent my P320 back to Sig Sauer last night...

....for the volunteer upgrade that they are doing on the trigger. It was a fairly easy process. They send you and email with instructions, and FedEx emails you a link where you can print the label. The only aggravating part was having to drive a good distance to a FedEx hub, but even that...

Voluntary Upgrade for those who also have a Sig P320

Just thought I'd put this out there for others, like myself, who also have a Sig P320 in their firearm collection. Sig Sauer is offering a voluntary upgrade on these firearms due to the possibility of an accidental discharge if the pistol is dropped in a certain way. The announcement in the...

NRA email - special membership rate

I did actually do a 3 year membership when I initially signed up last year. This would essentially upgrade that to a lifetime membership. It looks like I can do it in $25 payments, so I think I'm going to go that route.

NRA email - special membership rate

Yeah, they offer that option. I think that's the route I'm going to go.

NRA email - special membership rate

I have received a few emails regarding a special rate NRA was doing for renewing memberships. I had just joined about a year ago as I was just starting to really get into guns again at that time. At any rate, it looks like I can lock in a lifetime membership at $600 now if I go ahead and go...

Well, I had my fireworks early this afternoon

So, I've kind of adopted a bunny that use to belong to my 2 nephews. This afternoon, I heard the bunny thumping it's foot (a sign of alarm for them). I walked into the kitchen to see what was wrong. I noticed something that looked like a small piece of gas line from a distance coming out from...

What would be your choice for EDC semi

I currently carry a 9mm Shield, though I have been toying with the idea of getting an X-change kit to make my full size Sig P320 into a compact or carry for the purposes of EDC. As it stands now, the P320 is currently the one that resides on my night stand at night, As you can tell by this...

    Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

I just found an M&P Sport 15-22 for sale at $380 last night at Cabela's. I placed the order for it last night.

    9mm Shield Ammo

I personally like the way Federal HST handles for SD purposes. For plinking, I experiment with a lot of different brands - but I keep coming back to American Eagle in the 124 or 147 grain. I did pick up a box of Winchester 147 grain designated as a training round this week. I'm interested in...

    New Shield Thumb Safety Issue

It wouldn't hurt to at least call Smith & Wesson about it. If you've got a really good relationship with the store where you bought it, you might could check with them as well to see if they might exchange it. The store I deal with will often exchange it and deal with warranty issues...
