After getting home and cleaning the gun i noticed my rear sight was loose. I tried to tighten it up but the screw freespun. Is this something i can fix myselrf or do i need a smith to take a look at it.
I picked up a nice 5946 today. I really like this gun. I have always like the 3rd gen autos. My question is where do i get extra mags and a good holster for it? i ran 50 rounds through it earlier and it performed flawless. Now i just need a 4566 and a 4043 and ill be happy. I have been bit by...
I have taken Troopers advice and no longer worry LOL. I did contact S&W b/c of the roll pins wiggling out and the slide finish wearing after a month. They are sending me a label to return and are onna take a look at the rest of my concerns as well. Thanks everyone for the help.
I have just realized I have a older M&P. I have heard issues with the "dead Trigger". Mine is an 08 production. Should I be worried or just get over it. Do any of you have an older M&P with any issues. Mine has been perfect in the 150 rounds Ive put through it. Fed HST,Rangers,FMJ,Hydrashocks...
I believe its the trigger pull. A 10 pound pull is crazy. It took me about 100 rounds to get used to my 40FS. I was shooting low and left but after some time the groups tightened up. It is a different pull but just keep plunking away and youll figure it out. Also check if you can get a trigger...
I picked up a SD9 about a month ago. Wanted a range gun that was cheap to shoot. Took it out and ran about 150 rounds through it. All I could say was wow. The gun functioned perfectly. It was very accurate and feed WWB,Federal and Speer Gold dots flawless. I know use it as a HD Night stand gun...
It is the 40 that canbe converted to 9mm. I will add another plus for the M&P series. I was a Glock die hard shooter for 4 years. I bought the M&P 40 on a wim this year for fun. I shot it and was hooked. I sold my glocks and picked up a SD9. I am gonna get a M&P9 soon as soon as the funds show...
going on three weeks with my M&P. I use it as my EDC. Ran half a box of my perferred load to test functiona and no issues. I cant wait until I get the 9mm version. The M&P's are way better than Glocks. S&W scored a winner with me. I am offically a M&P shooter and believer.
Mine does the same thing. It ejects straight back about 1/4 of the time. They usuall fly over my right arm or shoulder. I dont bother me to much. I checked the extractor and it looks good. I am shoot some more and see what happens.
