    929 finally

    Just received 929, very sharp in more ways than one. The feeding cone had burs. I gently filed them down. They were bad enough to shred a rag and cleaning patches. I certainly don't expect burs from a Performance Center handgun. I hope I did the right thing by smoothing, instead of sending back...

    Not exactly a S&W revolver but:

    Ruger LCR 357 magnum getting very proficient taking it nice or twice a week putting through 50 hand load +p 38 sp. I have had my other carry gun blow up in my face XDs 45 double charged. Believe me it took a little while to get back on the horse. Now I'm anal man coming to reloads 3 scales 5...

    Have a Model 60 pro series(thumbs up to it) My next project is a 986 or 929 9 mm revolver. Checking out on line 986 is pro series, but listed under performance center and Gunbroker lists some as PC and the same gun PS. The 929 is roll marked PC and 986 is not.
