Have a Model 60 pro series(thumbs up to it) My next project is a 986 or 929 9 mm revolver. Checking out on line 986 is pro series, but listed under performance center and Gunbroker lists some as PC and the same gun PS. The 929 is roll marked PC and 986 is not. The m60 states PS is the next step before PC. WTH
 
Hello, The S&W performance center does the pro series revolvers and hand guns. This is because they go beyond the normal process of simply assembling stock weapons. The PC will do extra things like a trigger job, cut the cylinder to accept moon clips, add special sights like beaded sights, slab side barrels, and crowning the barrel.

I have both a new 986 and a 627PC. The single & double action of the 627 far exceeds the new 986. Don't get me wrong I'm very happy with the 986.
Just stating the trigger on the 627PC is better than the 986.
