    Which revolver to choose?

686 Go with the 686 plus, S&W and a extra round in your gun is always a good thing.

    Smith 638

Hey Guys, I'm getting ready to pick up another airweight. I'm leaning heavy towards the 638 but would prefer it in the matte black. Does Smith not make this gun in blue anymore? Have they ever made it in matte black like the 442? Or am I over looking it? Thanks Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747...

    New Shooters

Show them some crime scene photos of people who could have prevented an assault if they had been armed. If that doesn't work offer to grill them a steak if they'll go shoot with you. In all seriousness, I think a lot would depend on who you're trying to get to go. I've found that most women who...

    Benchmade and Other Lockback Knives

I have owned several axis lock knives by Benchmade and they've held up well. If you're looking for the strongest lock out there, check out the Cold Steel knives with the Triad lock. The American Lawman is a nice one for the price. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2

Hi Guys, First off thanks to all for the great suggestions everyone posted. I have ended up with a 620 and a 629 both 4" since I posted the original thread. I hope to have time to sight them in and get some rounds down range this weekend. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2

What are the must have Smith Revolvers?

Thanks for all the great replies guys!! I'm going to start with the. 22s, .357s, and .44s to begin with. Now comes the hard part of deciding which models and barrel lengths first. I think a good 586 may be next followed by a 27 or 29. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2

WTB S&W 586-4 or 686-4 and Colt Python grips 3rd gen

Hi, I'm looking for either a 586-4 or 686-4 in good condition. Barrel of 4" or less is preferred and the plus models are fine as well. Box and papers is a plus but not a must. Thanks Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2

What are the must have Smith Revolvers?

James, To answer your questions my favorite calibers are .357 and .45. Having said that, I've not had a .44 and all of my .45s are the 1911 or M&P platform. Also I'm fond of .22s as well. I only have Smiths in the J and K frame at the moment. I like the J for what they are but I absolutely love...
