A beautiful 6 1/2" Smith & Wesson model 29-2 from the early 1970s. This example of S&W's popular .44 magnum is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. I would rate the original bright blue at 99% with the only wear being a cylinder turn line. Timing, lockup and bore/throat condition are as new. I believe it has fired very few rounds since leaving the factory. It will ship with its original mahogany presentation case which has been relined with blue cloth. Case has the fitted hard styrofoam "clamshell" bottom liner and the soft foam top liner. The original unused tools come with the revolver, but there is no paperwork. Serial number N 70XXX. This 29-2 would be difficult to upgrade in your collection.
