    Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Carry Position

    IWB I carry either of my 1911's in a "WHITE HAT" It is ajustable seven ways to Sunday. I carry @4:00. Full size .45 and Commander size .38 Super. I keep feeling to make sure it's still there...It ALWAYS is.

    Toward a more comfortable IWB

    I carry my 1911 in a WHITE HAT. I ordered the horse hide version and it took about a half day to conform. Since then, I have never even looked at anything else. You can buy the one horse hide backing and different holsters to change out with. You can also custom order logos for the holster.

    How long did it take to get comfortable carrying, and WHAT was your first carry weapo

    I carried a P3AT for about a year and experimented with IWB holsters. I usually just dropped it in my back pocket in a Galco holster...Then I discovered "White Hat" out of Arlington, Tx. I now carry my 1911 .45 unless I am going to be in the truck a long time, then I carry my Commander sized .38...

    .38 148 Grain HBWC Test

    The "standard" bullseye match load has always been 3gr Bullseye behind a 148 gr HBWC seated flush. I tried 2.5 in my 4" Dan Wesson and at 50 yds they stuck in the plywood target backing.Went back to 3gr. I tried 3.7behind the HBWC loaded BACKWARDS on Javilina. Killed em dead. Looked like one...

    May actually be reloading soon!

    I started reloading in the midle 70's for my K-38 and 28. Heck, ammo was over $4.00 a box and I could reload with 148gr. HBWC for 2 1/2 cents a pop. Now I make my own bullets and using my stash of primers and bullseye it's still about the same. I am dreading the day when I have to buy any more...

    four diget s/n I rec'd a Mod. 63 Delux today from the Orig. owner. He said it had a long thin telescope sight, but doesn't remember what happened to it. It has a slide adjustable peep and 4 threaded holes for a scope mount. S/N383
