    10mm Magazines - Follower Colors

There are three kinds of 10mm mags: 1st model has yellow follower and a beveled front. 2nd model has a white follower. Third is also a white follower with "accu-glide" written on the side. There is no difference in performance, only that the yellow ones are older. All my yellow ones have...

    Bullet Trap

JEFFJ13 you can do it just fine with the 1/4" plate. Angle it 45deg to the ground, place 1/2" plywood sides to catch bullet splatter. Have sand or pea gravel on the ground to trap the bullet. Have at least a 2x4 as the front lip. Get a high velocity fan or blower at your back and have an in/out...

BLACK TALON & HYDRASHOK vs. NEW STUFF

The joke I heard is that Winchester's SXT round was named that because its the "Same Xact Thing" as BT. Just not black anodized.

    1086 barrel

Accuracy seems fine out of the 10mm barrel. It centers about 3" high. Its the same "jump" distance that the Model 610 has shooting .40S&W. Wolf does not make 10mm. But I am looking at the steel cased .40 for a steel ring. How snug does your ring fit? You DID buy a spare barrel to epoxy it in...

    1086 barrel

Using a ring cut from the mouth of an aluminum 10mm Blazer, I seated the ring in the chamber with loctite and firing. I have now fired 300 rounds without problems. I still fear it may "eject" with a fired round. I also worry the aluminum will peen with time. Thinking about going to a steel ring...

    1086 barrel

I believe 2003flht is correct. I have been working on a project like this. I purchased a spare 1006 barrel from S&W. Using a fired aluminum 10mm Blazer ammunition case, I trimmed a 0.142" circle from the end of the case using a tube cutter. I will now loctite it into the chamber and fireform it...

    m&p 45

Mine is individually purchased but there is limited issue. All of the issued ones have the safety. There are some in armory here at Fort Wainwright. I'll find out the FSN.

    m&p 45

I agree with Chris K... find an M&P without the thumb safety. Its a redundant system made for people who think about such stuff... not for people in the real world. Been on two tours Iraq [CW2-6/17CAV] and we love the M&P .45. But, a safety always turns on at the "partytime" moment. Don't need...
