Using a kitchen scale, The 586 weighed 3lbs 5.33oz empty. As a comparison, I weighed my Nickel 4" 27-2 = 2lbs 9.83oz empty. I think the weight will be a plus when shooting the 357 magnum rds.:)

That's a steal for that price! (I paid more than that for my Nickel 27-2 a fews months ago) BTW, I like mine with the factory magnas. It just feels better than the target stocks.

I got the shield the week after it came out. I like it but I dont love it like I love my H&K P7 (tack driver) Not really impress with the trigger, I mean it's a step up to my Glock 26 but nothing to rave about. The HK has a much better trigger imho.

Here she is with a Tyler-T grip adapter. It actually makes a difference with the grip, much better to hold, and still maintains concealability. -
