Getting ready to head down south for my sisters wedding when the gun shop calls to let me know this came in. Needless to say I had to go take a look... I traded a forum member some work and some green for this 28-2 to mold holsters with. I'm mighty happy with my end of the trade - wish I didn't have to mold with it after seeing how nice it is. This is also my first N-frame Smith and it's in the s233xxx range.

Very Nice for your first N-Frame. Be very careful. This is contagious
and could get out of hand quickly. Ask my wife.

It is beyond sweet. Get a saddle colored basket weave holster (pick any brand) match a belt to fit with a speed loader and woohoo, life is good. If I still lived in a colder or cooler climate, I would carry that fine weapon in a shoulder rig from El Paso. Ahhh, memories. Good deal for you.

Hey Derosa, it's a good thing I do my own leather. It wil have a nice new home in due time. A shoulder rig is a thought, now isn't it? It will probably get something like this:

If only I could afford a 3.5" N frame....

chud333, picking up my first as well, Model 29 this weekend. One question, are we obligated to tell our wives?

Oh no, what she does'nt know won't hurt her right?
I'm very lucky in that mine says buy what you want or
you'll just be miserable. So i do.

Best Regards, Chuck

Eaglestroker that is a fine piece of work there my friend.
Put your work out there and i'm sure you could raise the
money in no time for a fine 3 1/2" N-frame.

Hey Chuck, thank you for the compliments. Maybe once I make a few more nice rigs I'll have some people's attention :)

Be careful, N frames are like rabbits, soon you will have a family!

I say that about Smiths in general!

4" N frames are the epitome of a perfect handgun. Nice 28-2 right there. :)

Thanks! Can't wait to shoot it.

Congrats on the N frame! Nice leather work...

Thank you on both notes!

Eaglestroker you have my attention, I would be proud to own a set like that for a Model 57 with a 6" barrel, would you make a belt and holster for a Smith Fan? PM me if your interested, I love your workmamship. Ron.
