Those were my thoughts exactly! My Shield 45 does carry as well or better than most of my "lesser caliber" options. And it's darn accurate too! Sometimes I even opt to carry a second magazine.

I put a roller handle on my 550 about a month after I bought it (30 years ago) and I've never experienced any discomfort using it. I'm quite happy with the press and the roller handle. It seems to spread out the pressure point on my hand. Good investment.
