I have 2 5" pro's both in 9mm. The triggers on both of mine one 2014 and one 2015 are better then all of my other m&ps. Also idpa rules for ssp class you can change internal parts. Apex kit is legal as long as you don't change the trigger it's self.

I know the pro has a .180 tall front sight and the standard m&p has a .160 tall sight. This could have something to do with it.

They just released the 9c in FDE does that excite you?

My shield 9 did the same thing. After 500 rounds it has loosened up or worn in or somehting becuase it goes back together as easy as all my other M&P's now. I'd say put some rounds or alot of rounds threw it and see what happens before you go threw the hassel of sending it back.

I read some stuff about the striker dragging on the sear due to the sear not disengauging fast enough or fully and by opening up the loop can help this. after i did that the light strikes stopped, but this is not the issue i am trying to solve right now. carry mine daily and shoot it every weekend at the end of my range trip. I love this gun and it shoots great and conceals great.

I ran it when i first got my m&P22. it ran good but is dirtier then the CCI mini mags and standrad velocity that I normally shoot now.

Its going to replace my walther as my carry gun for sure. I love this thing. I put another 100 rounds threw it tonight, still amazed with the lil m&p.

I picked it up a few weeks ago. Shot it today. Not sure my little hands like this gun. I run my m&p's very well but this gun not so much.
