I believe it's not possible for the trigger to release the hammer when the bolt is locked open as the hammer is held in the depressed position by the open bolt.

I just sold my original non-threaded barrel V1 15-22 an picked up the recently released V2 15-22 'Sport' model and LOVE it.

It seems like the Volquartsen Extractor is basically the only aftermarket internal component available for the 15-22 so I'm pretty excited about it. I'll probably order one up sometime soon.

I purchased a RRA 2-stage match and then sent it in to RRA to have them tweak the springs to the lightest available 3.5# which they now call their "varmint" trigger.
This trigger is absolutely incredible. The second stage break it literally a mouse click. That's the best way I can describe it...
Can tacticool22 comment on whether or not the tolerances of the NLS charging handle have been modified to allow it to slide freely when the bolt is held open?

Picked up my Sport model a week ago and I'm really digging it so far. I had an original model unthreaded barrel 15-22 before that I replaced.
I like the smoother handguard feel that the M-Lok provides. I've just begun accessorizing it, I'll post photos soon.
