Preferred 'drop-in' trigger upgrade

I purchased a RRA 2-stage match and then sent it in to RRA to have them tweak the springs to the lightest available 3.5# which they now call their "varmint" trigger.

This trigger is absolutely incredible. The second stage break it literally a mouse click. That's the best way I can describe it. There's a super positive wall that you feel between the first stage take up and the mouse click break. You can just hold your finger on that wall and click when you want to break your shot.

It's made the rifle so much fun.

I haven't purchase any different pins yet but to plan to pick up some KNS pins eventually. The stock trigger pins work perfectly with the RRA 2 stage triggers and as far as I can tell they're the same pins that come new with the RRA trigger.

I have Geissle triggers in all my AR's except 2 RRA's and a Colt 6724 Enhanced which have decent triggers. But the Geissele triggers are imo the best and worth what they cost. My favorite is the SSA-E that has a slightly lighter 2nd stage than the SSA. You won't be disappointed in the SSA. The reports are not hype.

Sorry noob question here. I'm searching some of the triggers talked about in this thread. Everything I search comes up for AR-15. Is the AR drop in trigger the same for the 15/22?

The triggers are the same, but anti walk / rotation pins are 15-22 specific as the receiver is a bit wider.

That depends on the trigger replacement you choose.

my 15-22 has a 7lb pull, ordered a 3.5LB CMC trigger yesterday for it, $154 shipped. got a bump stock coming also I like to use ammo LOL

got it put 1 in my M&P 15-22 and got a 3lb trigger now

haven't had time to drop the other in my DPMS AR-15 yet

also dropped the anti walk pins in, made it look nicer and 1 of my pins was trying to work out after 50 rds anyway

Good choice.....you cant go wrong with the CMC trigger

which anti walk pins have you fitted?
