First time firing my 360 PD bad experience

That's a nice looking Model 60 w/ Boot Grip. Model 65 Lady Smith in .357 Magnum, .38 spl shoots just fine. Except, more burnt powder will dirty up the front of cylinder quickly. Because of the slightly shorter case length. I think it's a -7 or -8, hence the trigger lock. Can be...

    New Smith&Wesson Model 10 Classic

There are so many, even in real clean condition they are not very pricey. I had this snubbie. Which are less common. Very clean.

First time firing my 360 PD bad experience

I’m not a fan of hot & heavy high pressure handgun rounds. Unless I’d be in wild animal territory, I’d pack a .454 Casull. Since I’m barely leaving city limits, 9mm or .45 are splendid & reliable rounds.

First time firing my 360 PD bad experience

Emphasis on "should". If the cylinder locks up, is it a safety feature or a malfunction? Or would it be better if the gun fires hot loads until the top strap blows off? I admire those power shooters who brag up their bear loads from an xyz medium frame short barrel revolver. Wow! What a recoil...

First time firing my 360 PD bad experience

It's save to say that neither the handgun nor the ammo was the right equipment/supply. Bad advice for a first time buyer. Very bad. Those revolvers are highly specialized, designed for weight saving when carrying. The load they take should be considered very carefully. There is tons of info out...

First time firing my 360 PD bad experience

Wow! This thread is one hell of a ride! I wonder, what means "to carry around". Does the OP have a CCW?

    10-5 date

1968, according to the National Gun Forum. Link is in post #11. Interesting how people like the tapered barrel. I don't like it on the Model 10 because of the absence of an actual shroud or under-lug. I am picking up a 10-6 tomorrow, which is the variant with the thicker and straight 4" heavy...

    19-3 an 1K19357

    It's definitely a real nice piece w/ a one-of-a-kind serial #. Maybe some day I come across a nice blued M19.

    Flitzed 629 (pic heavy)

My first: 686+ and 620. Around 2008, the 6" barrel was a great shooter. Both showed the same finish characteristics which left me with quite some desire for a more refined polish. I never got to it, I moved on faster than I could polish them. However, on my last 2 acquisitions which are...
