I'd have to concur with this one. I've also got a Python, Trooper MKIII, and a Ruger Security Six...all 6" barrels, and all blue except for the 686. I'd have a hard time giving up the Security Six, but if I could only keep 1, it'd be the 686. It's just a great all around .357.

I just bought mine in August. So far, I've only put 200 rounds of 185 Remington and 200 grain Hornady JHP handloads through it, but it did fine with both, right out of the box. Looks like it'll be a great gun.
