Depending on where you live...$500-$600 is where it should be. Mine is in mint condition. I also thought about not carrying it. What the hell we only go 'round once. Carry it all the time now. Good luck.

Does anyone know if I am allowed to store guns in a safety deposit box at my bank? I live in Arizona. I would like to ask however I dont want to draw attention to myself. Of course it can be done without anyone knowing, I am allowed to take my box to a private room with no people or cameras...

It's a standard service trigger with an aftermarket "trigger shoe" added to it. Indeed I do see it as a shoe now. Thanks. I seem to really like it this way. And thanks to all for the nice comments. I couldnt resist those grips soon as I saw em.

This was my Model 28-2 rescue. Left for dead at a local shop. Quality cleaning turned up a real gem. Didnt even realize the target trigger until I snactched it up. Single action pull is about 1/2 lbs. Lots of holster wear, it was someones best friend, now it's mine. Came with K frame stocks. So...

Sigs are great guns. I wouldnt let the bad experiance with their customer service detour me from buying one. My limited dealing with Smiths customer service has been great. I cant get decent customer service from MANY companies and people. Including my doctor. Doesnt mean he's not a great guy...

Welcome..I just picked up my 28-2 a couple weeks ago. Cant figure out what I did without it. Heavy duty work horse is right. I paid 410 out the door. These days it's hard to pick a decent one for much cheeper. I promise you, you will not regret it. Now head down there then bring it home and show...

Excellant, thanks VM. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a reasonable deal now. Might be awhile, original stocks are getting pricey. I want to keep her original looking so maybe it wont be too hard to find a pair that are "nicely aged".
