J Frame Photos, Let's See Yours

For getting an weapons permit, you need a legal reason. The only legal reason for civilians is sports or recreational shooting. This comes with some restrictions and conditions. The other reasons mentioned on the application form are : hunting and fauna control, historic collection, personal...

J Frame Photos, Let's See Yours

Latest purchase I just got my latest permit for 2 new beauties. It took me about 6 months to get the paperwork done in paranoid Europe. Paranoid only for law abiding civilians. Criminals wouldn't bother. I was able to get a S&W bodyguard Airweight model 49 - .38spl from an older lady who bought...

    Why do I still want a J-frame?

I recently purchased a few 'new' second hand guns. The last purchase is a Jframe in a spotless condition. I was able to purchase it at only 50usd. It's my first revolver. I actually bought it for my 16-year old daughter which is interested to go to the range with me. The trouble will be getting...

brass I guess brass (without powder or primers) would not be subject to special controls. Although the receiver would need an arms permit I guess. @s537

    BLITZKRIEG?

From a European perspective, we see the American intervention during WWII a bit differently. We were indeed liberated. And after the war got the bill. Ever heard of the Eisenhower Camps? The winner rewrites history. 1 million german soldiers died in these 'concentration' camps.

Hawaii may enter gun owners into a Fed database

Where I live in Europe, virtually any official is against weapons in the hands of civilians. Legal gun owners get checked regularly, there's a lot of legislation to respect, lots of rules, ... . The criminals don't ask anything, they just buy Balcan stuff or weapons from Turkey. Every time sth...

Finally got my 356TSW barrel approved Dear friends gunlovers, You won't believe the trouble I went through for getting my S&W Super 9 approved. Guns regulations in Europe are ridiculously strict. I got the barrels 9x19 and 9x21 approved easily. The trouble was with the 356 TSW. The amo at the...

This may actually be the solution for my problem. It refers to the IPSC reloading list and another source. This sounds good enough to me. I'll keep you informed. By the way, anyone interested in this model Super9 which I found in Holland? I may be of assistance if you'd be interested.

I do indeed mean the empty brass casings that can be reloaded. I have found 100 pieces of these in Germany. In order to satisfy authorities, I would indeed need official reloading data supplied by a powder manufacturer. Another solution would be to supply them with 3 pieces (only!) and an...

    5906 "Super 9" Information

Hello guys, I urgently need your help. As you read, I received my super 9 model with 2 exchange barrels. 9x19, 9x21 and 356TSW. We have a gun controle agency here and they want to test the 356TSW but there is no ammo available on the market. I have found some shells though BUT in order to...

    M&P 15 Sport as a first AR-15

To mention this on an american forum is like swearing in church I guess. I am limited by budgets and arms regulations here in Europe. Prices for decent AR's are pretty high and regulations are getting stricter all time. This implies a serious risk because some smart politicians may ban ownership...

The product code on the box is damaged and unreadable. Unfortunately. It may as well be a box belonging to another type of pistol. Hard to say.

Hello. It took a while before I got all permits to get the weapons I purchased. Local and federal law enforcement had some concerns about my requests but finally I passed all checks with all officials. I actually got the permits 3 days after the Paris attacks, which is some 250 kms away from...
