right on thanks for the info guys... i figured thats what I would have to do... i was thinkin of replacing just the front sight.... only to be able to see in the dark in case I got to pop someone who breaks in. Any ideas where I can get just the front night sight?
Yeah make sure she is holding it tight cause my 9VE jams on my wife occasionally but I have never has it jam on me once. I just think its the way she holds it. Must have a firm grip to send the slide back to battery position. I love my gun!!!

It does not have a V on the serial number... just the 6 digit number i posted earlier. And all 3 serial numbers match from the bottom of the grip to the drum to the bottom of the barrel. and i measured the barrel from the very front all the way to where it meets up with the drum. Thanks for...

My father inherited 2 old smith and wesson revolvers. The only thing that is stamped on them is .38S&W. Will .38 Special ammo work for it? Or is this something special? One looks like an old Blue Model 22? Not sure what models they really are maybe I will post some pics soon... any info will...
