Kydex Holsters for M&P340 or 340PD

I am back amongst the living and have been off of the forum for a year. So, I am wondering where on the forum one can post for makers of a kydex IWB for the M&P340 or 340PD? I honestly thought I would never be up on the forum again and prayers worked and here I am. I have a lot to catch up on...

    Sigma vs. SDVE

I read these posts after Christmas and purchased the Galloway Boudica trigger for the SD9-series. I am impressed. I have not run 100s of rounds, but a few magazines and it is certainly an improvement over stock. I am pleased and thank you gents for posting your results on here.

New S&W Bullpump Shotgun Just Announced!

I guess I will stick with my three Mossbergs, 590A, 590 and Shockwave and one Remington 870 Police. I like the Shockwave with its SureFire forearm and CrimsonTrace green saddle-laser. I think I will wait until they get the bugs worked out of the M&P-12.

    Holster for SD9VE

I have found and use a few of the cheaper kydex ones found online with some success. I have gone so far as to change-out the belt-clip to loops on the holsters. No complaints.

    Pocket Carry .. holster recomondation

I use a Sticky for my M&P340 EDC. Before this, it was a DeSantis Nemesis. BOTH are good for my use. I keep both on-hand.

1.5-inch v. 1.75-inch belt width: Does extra 0.25-inch make a difference for CCWing?

I am picky. I wear a custom-made 1.75" double-thickness belt with no buckles. It has velcro over-lap instead of buckles. I tried the 1.5" and found with a higher-ride holster that it tipped and printed more. This is just me. I have worn buckleless belts since the 1970s. I grew more rotund over...

    What’s Your Favorite 3-inch ????

I own four of the 3-inchers. Three are K-frames and one is a 686+ L-frame. I guess my favorite would be the Model 65-LadySmith. The others are the Model 64 in 3-in and Model-65 in 3-in.

    SD9 slide on SD9VE frame

I was hoping so, as I am mostly a revolver person and have two such 9mm's. One is a SD9 and the other is a SD9VE. I am gonna be switching slides to frames for myself for the color. I like one-color pistols.

    SD9 slide on SD9VE frame

Is putting the slide from a SD9 (black) on a frame for a SD9VE a workable situation? I ask because I like the black-on-black, rather than the stainless on black. The SD9 uses the grey-frame and the SD9VE uses the black-frame. Is it compatible to switch?

    Tree or no tree

Nope. No tree. Have not now for a number of years. Both kids left the nest and it was not much of a thing for us. No outside decorations either. Christmas Eve family service and Midnight Mass. That is the extent of our Christmas now. Both of us are fairly decrepit and do not need the hassle.

COUNTING SHOTS is important to me......

Counting shots out serves one well in real-life scenarios. I would venture a guess that most in hostile-fire environments are prone to count their shots. I know it served me well in SE Asia for 509 days.

    686-Plus Sight Question

The 686-Plus has a 3-inch barrel. I believe it has the .278" red-ramp front. At seven-yards, it is hitting 2" low for me and two other shooters. I did e-mail Cylinder & Slide for their recommendations.

    686-Plus Sight Question

I am looking for some recommendations for a replacement front-sight for my Model 686-Plus 3-5-7. I replaced the rear-sight with a Cylinder-Slide fixed. Now, it shoots very low. Any recommendations on where to find a replacement for the stock red-ramp? I shy away from "fixing" it with a file to...

    The End of the Road

God bless you. Your acceptance of what you were dealt is inspiring. I had my cancer surgery and was told, "no more than a year or so". Well...it is over five years. One never knows. Prayers for you and your family.
