Going To Ireland this Summer. Travel tips or ideas?

Took a 12 day trip a couple of years ago. It was one of the best vacations ever. Saw most of Southern Ireland and it is a stunningly beautiful country with great people. Ours was a guided trip with Vantage, so we did not have much time on our own, but I did not have to try driving on the wrong...

    Georgia arms 38

I have been using their ammo for years now and never had any issues. I find their WC rounds to be more accurate in my .38's than their SWC.

    Some Model 52 questions....

Are their any differences in the 52-1 mags and those for the 52-2?

    ACCURACY

Same as many others: pistols with irons - S&W 41 and model 52. Revolvers: S&W 610 and 625

    S&W 52-2

Update on the model 52. I adjusted the mag feed lips just a little - down to .367) (I was too timid to go very far given the replacement cost). Took some factory match ammo and some of my reloads with the bullets reseated to flush with the case mouth, and the gun ate them all! 50 + rounds with...

    S&W 52-2

Yours looks like a real find. A little odd to me is the ejection on mine was perfect every time, even putting the brass is a neat little pile about 18" away. Plus, it always fed the last 3 rounds, counting the one that FTF and I had to put back in the mag.

    S&W 52-2

I was fortunate enough recently to find a nice model 52. It does not look to have been fired much, if at all outside the factory. Based on the serial number it was a 1982 production.Unfortunately, I did not get a box or manual and only 1 mag with the gun. I am looking for a manual and I will...

? for guys who put a scope on their revolvers...

I have scopes on a Ruger comp model in .22 and my 617. Both are a lot of fun to shoot and accuracy is much improved. I have a Bushnell red dot on my 610 and that has been a good combo. I also bought a 29-8 specifically to shoot .44 specials and mounted a red dot on it as well. Old and bad eyes...

    1911 in 22 CALIBER

I have the Sig 1911 - 22 and it has been a good pistol. I am not fond of the plastic sights, especially the interchangeable front which did not want to stay put at first, but a little super glue fixed that. No issues with feeding etc. I also have a S&W M&P 22 to use as a companion piece to my...

    Shot a 15-22 today, I want one...

One of my most fun to fire rifles. The only downside is that you will quickly use up any .22 ammo you can find.

    Md 39-2 Pawn Shop Find

Nice looking pistol and good shooting. To me the 39 series both looks and feels great. I think that may make us concentrate a little more and shoot closer to their potential.

    40 S&W-If you already have 9mm/45auto

If I had pistols that I liked in 9mm and 45 ACP, I would not buy a 40. The round is more expensive to shoot than the 9, not as accurate as the 45 and recoil is not uncontrollable, but it is certainly more than the 9 and the "snappiness" makes it a little slower to get back on target than with...

It must have been radioactive . . . so I shot it with a Canon!

Great photo. We had a male visit our feeder (we live in Central Ga. too - Lake Sinclair). Very rare sight, maybe only once or twice in the last 10 years.
