Use CCI Blazer. $17.99 or so for a brick of 500. It is a little dirty but only had one dud round in 1500. It doesn't stay in stock for long so sometimes it is hard to find. Haven't had any issues with the Winchester Super X either but $8 for 100 isn't economical for plinking.

I have a similar case but I put my gun in the case with the handle down when it is being carried because I have optics on it. I think that is how Skidder has his too but hard to tell when his pictures don't work.;)

Go 3/4". I picked up a 1" because I'm stupid and didn't measure right. It does not co-witness. A 3/4" would have worked well.

The best ammo is one that shoots consistantly in your gun and that you are happy with. Some brands are better than others overall but unless you need tight groupings for competition or very small animals, it all generally shoots within a 2-3" radius. Don't be afraid of the Golden Bullets if you...
