Lack of 9mm lead load data

Agree with shotgun693, bullet makers are alsoa wealth of knowledge. Personally, I prefer bullseye and winchester super field for 9mm especially lead. Good luck and work up your loads carefully.

    Should I get an S&W 986 or 929?

I went with the 929 too. Why buy a 7 shot when an 8 shot is available? I hope they make the 929 in a 5inch version. I want the full double lug. I also don't like that you can see the ejector rod from the right side of the gun on the 986.

    Reloading 44 magnum

Several loads were also developed for the contender or single shot rifles that won't fit in other guns. Always check several manuals before trusting a load. Good luck and safe shooting.

    45 Colt rifle loads

Unique is my favorite powder for 45 colt. My load is a 250gr rnfp with 7.5gr of Unique. I have no problem ringing the gong at 75 yrds easily. It is a pleasant shooting round and my yellow boy eats them up. Good luck and happy shooting.

    Warning-- Dillon Precision!!!!!!

No complaints here either. I've owned a 550 for about 15 years and loaded tens of thousands of rounds. Over the years I've had to replace many parts and Dillon has never given me the slightest problem. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. Quality....

    old reloading equipment?

Definitely, set that old press up and start reloading. Single stage presses are better to start on because you need to focus on all the stages individually. I have a progressive press but I set up my dads old press when he passed away and it was made in the 50's. Those old presses were built...

    Leupold or Swarovski?

+1 for the Leupold. I have several different scopes but the Leupolds are always my favorite. I sent one scope back to them and was very satisfied with the quick return. I had target turrets installed and that scope has been my favorite ever since. I don't own a Swarovski because I'm too...

    Need schooling on Titegroup powder

I've used TG for years as well all the other powders mentioned in this post. I like them all for certain loads. IMHO I like TG with FMJ loads. It works exceptionally well with 9mm and 40S&W loads. Yes you have to be hypervigilent. You should be anyway when loading. I don't like TG with...

Hornady 55 gr FMJBT load ?

I have used H335 with Hornady bullets with good results but you have to make sure that you have separated your brass. I was getting similar results when I started loading this caliber. I simply separted the brass that I had loaded and the groups shrank in half. 223 cases are vastly different...

    Looking for Powder Measure recommendations

+1 on the Redding 3BR. I've used this for years. I prefer to use my Dillon but I don't have change over plates for every caliber I have. As long as your powder choices are ball powders, each powder throw will be spot on. It works well for unique and clays also but get both bushings for...

586 no dash non M Lockup today.

I have a 586 ND and have been thinking of sending it in but now I wonder if I want too. Does anyone have a pic of this "butchering" fix. I'd like to see what they do to it. I have fired many rounds with no problems including some 125 JHP I reloaded. I do agree that I would like to have a...

    Dillon 550B Primer Problems

I've had this problem in the past with my 550 and it is a fairly easy fix. I called Dillon many times and they are very helpful. In the end I figured it out myself. It is the two small screws on the bottom of the primer system. Don't over tighten them. Yes it has to be straight and square...

Loading 223 case how short ??

I noticed this too with Federal cases. I separate all of my 223 brass so it has nevered mattered. I have shot very tight groups with this brass. As long as your loads are all the same, you will have no problems.

    625-3 5" price check

I think that is a fair price. I paid over $700 for mine. I have a model of 1989 with the box. It was 98% too. Good luck and enjoy your new toy...

    .41 magnum

Great caliber, wish I had one. I still have brass and bullets for when I come across one for the right price.
