i did the same thing recently to my 10-6, im putting the wood back on,dont care for the hogues-thought i did,looks better and i even think it feels more right with the wood targets,i keep the small original magnas in the box.youve got a nice pistol though.

i own a 5904 alloy frame,i used to own a ta90 and a tz75 -cz75 copies,the ta jammed abit,mag problems,i would rather have the smith.been real reliable.5906 are nice in stainless.either dont last long in the gun case at the local..good luck.

well it looks great,i sanded the fat hump off the bottom of my 5904,then i had a candle and heated a nail and actually ended up heating the big round end up and resanded,looks like gater or lizard hide on backstrap.wish i could post pics.thinking of doing the rest with a heating tool,just got to...

wolf used to be cheap,its almost as high as name brand brass,i buy whatever they get in,wolf,blazer aluminum,pmc bronze,all shoots fine.

hope this doesnt bother anyone,not trying to hijack,exiledviking ,how did you stipple the smooth areas of your grips please.

never could find any 915 these parts,9 series anything,settled on a 5904 and sanded the plastic hump/checkering off backstrap and stippled it for a sandpaper like finish,straight grip feels much better.congrats.

thank you i looked again after a good cleaning,it looks like tool marks,same on both sides,ill have it looked at,if yours has it,im not worrying,cant take pics,tried before,wont upload,thanks for help.

cleaned this nasty 5904 i bought up and the barrell was black,got everything cleaned up and on each side of the feed ramp 1/2 way up is a crack looking line on both sides,goes back to each side lug,is it just casting flash,my eyes aint what they used to be.thanks.
