Show us your .32 auto pistols!

Here is my Deutsche Werke (Ortgies) 32 Auto from the 1920s. My dad brought this and a K98 back in 1945. They both shoot very well.

    First ever Revolver...686-6 4in

That makes sense. We would all love to see a picture! Mine is very well used, not much finish left at all, and makes a perfect glove compartment gun.

    First ever Revolver...686-6 4in

Retire a Chief's Special? What was the reason given? I have a one from the mid-50s and can't imagine why I would retire it. Hey, it's not a 686, but it is still a great little gun!

    Tax Refund

No one is "lucky enough" to get a tax refund. It simply means you paid in more during the previous year than you needed to, and the government is graciously returning to you what is already yours. Compare what you got back to what you paid in total. Still feel lucky?

Many thanks to you GeorgiaHunter, and all for the kind welcome. Those grips are from Ahrends. I probably will be looking to eventually get some Pachmayrs for the range. Hoping to get there this weekend!

    686 picture thread

Just picked up this 686 yesterday. This is my first revolver, and after much reading, I knew this was the one I wanted. The Ahrends grips were a bonus and work well with my smaller hands. This 686 is an AARnnnn vintage - around 1981?

    New (to me) 686

Greetings - I am also a new 686 owner, having visited a show yesterday and finding EXACTLY what I was looking for. This is my first revolver, and after much reading, I knew this was the one. What a nice piece! The Ahrends grips were a bonus thrown in, and work well with my smaller hands...
