Thanks for the info, as far as your comment it's too bad S&W won't wake up and produce all revolvers lock free. Not every one of their customers lives in states that require "feel-good but no results" pc gadgets on their guns.

Does anybody have a ball park number on how many 586 L-Comps [B]with out the lock[B] were sold? I would love to get my hands on one, but when I did see one for sale I was a day late and a dollar short. Now that I have the money I just need to know my chances, which I know are low.

a CS45 in DAO and also a 19-3 with a 3" barrel. No internal locks, mag disconnects or anything else that is PC. Just a nice solid built pistol and revolver.
