I have no doubt that the trigger on my nearly new M&P 40 is as advertised. Sometimes I'll be dry firing it and stop at the break to get a good feel for it. It feels like I'm pulling too hard and it must have broke before I noticed it or I didn't reset the sear. Then with a ton of force it...
I know it doesn't make a tone of sense, but I'm working on getting into an academy and I have to provide my own weapon. It must be either a Glock or Smith and Wesson, basically the same thing that is approved for duty, which my CZ was not. It was a great pistol and I imagine every now and then...
I just bought my first one, an M&P 40c, about a month ago. A couple weeks later I bought my second one, an M&P 40 full size with S&W night sights.
Seeing all the photos of revolvers is making me droll a bit guys. Now I think I'll have to save up for a 629 or 686.

Now, I think I was somewhat spoiled by my CZ 75B. It had been tuned and the trigger was a meager 2-1/2lbs. I could shoot the x-ring and ten-ring out of a standard pistol target at 15 yards with relative ease and people who had never shot my pistol...
Good info. I was spoiled by shooting a tuned CZ 75 with a SA trigger pull around 2-1/2# and DA pull at around 6#. When I got my 40c one of the first things I thought of was how much it would cost to improve the trigger.
I picked up my first one last week and went to the range to shoot it and my newly acquired XD40 and FORGOT TO PUT MY M&P40c IN MY RANGE BAG!
Oh well. I guess that means I have to go shooting this week, too.
Guess us Arizona Boys know a thing or two about lubing our firearms. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic, either 5w or 0w depending on time of year and how much shooting I plan on doing. I figure if it's good enough for Ferrari's and Corvette's it will probably work just as well on my M&P or my Sun Devil...
Hey folks. I recently acquired my first Smith & Wesson pistol: an M&P 40c. I haven't made time to go out and shoot this particular model but the full-size M&P 40 I shot impressed me enough that I figured I would get the compact now and worry about getting the full-size later.
Personally, I'm...
