I once put a 29-3 cylinder in a 29-2 frame. When the cylinder was open, it would move back and forth more but still hit the frame lug. Not ideal but still functional.

Years and years ago, I had RA 65 match .45 brass that I loaded so many times that eventually primers would not stay seated in the pockets. I finally replaced them with WCC 96 match brass. Those were the days! I don't shoot that much anymore but do hang on to the memories.

Pull down on the front of the trigger guard while moving the slide to the rear.

As a general rule, walnut target stocks were factory installed on guns to be used for bullseye competition. IE: models 17, 14 and 25. Also the model 28, Highway Patrolman. I have seen thus continue into the 1980s. Of course, Gonzala Alves stocks could be special ordered any time after 1955. Mike
