I guess I'll pay too... This is my fairly recently acquired 29-2, which does not appear to have ever been fired. My photography is not up to the standards of some of the posters here, but anyway, enjoy.

My Model 17-4 really seems to like the Winchester/Super-X 40 gr. "Power Point HP" ammo. This was recommended to me by a friend and gun shop owner, who also has two model 17s. Many brands of .22 ammo will shoot "okay" to pretty well in my Smith 17, but the above is the best I have found thus far.

In the "People's Republic... ... of California," that would be a great price for a mint 17-3. One does not see all that many model 17s and they tend to be snapped up as soon as they hit the shelves. I would grab it and ask questions later.

Nice K-22 Masterpiece. You did well. I recently picked up a Model 17-4, albeit in 95%+ condition, but without the box and goodies, for a good bit more than you paid. Model 17s of any flavor are getting pretty hard to find. Congrats!
