    Quality of the SD9VE?

I really find little difference between my Glock and my SD9. But the SD9 certainly feels better in the hand. At the range I prefer the SD9. Although there are no modifications to my Glock I did add the Apex spring kit to the SD9 which made the trigger similar to the Glock. Both are dead nuts...

    sd9ve guide rod

I have a Galloway 17lb stainless steel in my SD9 for about a year now. I'd say I have at least 500 rounds through it with no issue. I guess it's a personal choice but I feel the metal rod has to be less prone to failure than plastic.... Just saying....

    Stippled SD9VE

    Both real nice!

Please help me I made a mistake when puting my SD 40 VE BACK TOGETHER

Has the barrel dropped down? That is the only possible obstacle I can think of. Try holding the gun upside down while trying to take the slide off. You may have to shake the gun a bit to make sure the barrel is seated (while upside down). Make sure you have the mag out and you've pulled the...

    SD9 (Non-VE) Production years?

I have the SD9 and it came with a 10 round mag. Not really sure but I think the date is somewhere around 2010. The SD9 replaced the Sigma but when it became to close of a comparison to the MP they made it into the VE by taking some of the more costly parts off it and therefore able to sell it...

    Let's see those SD9VE's and SD40VE's.

Ok... It's an SD9 and not a VE.... A generation older.... My favorite to shoot!!!

    my sigma 9mm

In all these posts i haven't seen a Sigma. Most pics are of the sd9ve's. It's cool to see the difference between the Sigma and my SD9. Here's my sd9.

    My guide rod broke

Replaced mine with the Galloway.... Wouldn't want that plastic one to break at the wrong moment.....

What's the latest user verdict on installing the Apex Spring kit?

I have just the spring kit in my SD9, no issues after a year. It made the pull a bit softer and smoother but of course did not change the long pull which is just the way I like it (for carry purposes). I'd say it's all a personal preference but if your selling yours I would leave it stock...

3 day old SD40VE...need some opinions

Congrats on the new gun! Didn't the Apex trigger shorten up the pull and reset? I only have the Apex spring kit in my SD9 which made the trigger pull a lot nicer but I'm not looking to shorten up the pull on a carry gun.

    SD9VE Trigger

I added just the Apex trigger spring kit, it made the trigger pull a bit lighter and smoother without changing the length of the pull. I like it so much better and find it comparable to my Glock. I mostly use it at the range because of how accurate it is and fun to shoot but don't carry it much...

    SD vs M&P

I bought a used SD9 (before the VE), it was stock when I got it and like new. The trigger was ok but with the Apex trigger spring kit (only), it made the gun really sweet. In fact it's dead on, runs any type of ammo and more fun to shoot than my Glock 17 or Beretta. I'm sure there are benefits...

I think im going to give up on sw9ve

I would think if your having light strikes the first thing you would have replaced is the striker and its spring. Just my 2 cents.

My friend just bought a SW40V...

I have the Apex spring kit in my SD9 (not the trigger), it made a big difference. Trigger feels just as good as my Glock.

    SD9VE sights

I have the Ameriglo Pro IDOT aftermarket sights on my SD9. Don't know the technical term but they only have the one dot on the rear sight with a curved notch. I like them a lot because it's easy to see and sight up wether I'm wearing my glasses or not.
