Hi.... I was looking at a "Smith and Wesson Model 1500" made by Howa. There were No S&W markings anywhere on the metal, just in grip cap and recoil pad. I was wondering if this is indeed a Smith and Wesson, or an "ordinary" Howa in a Smith-marked stock.
Any comments appreciated. Thx
I recently acquired an early .455 Triple Lock. I love it but it does have a couple drawbacks (which help put it in my price range). Markings indicate it was probably part of a January 1915 shipment to Britain. Certainly not in collector condition but remaining bluing shows how great it must have...
Hi..... I have a beautiful solid oak display case originally custom made for two Smith and Wesson revolvers. These were a Model 14 and a Model 19-3, both with 6" barrels and fitted with Badger combat grips. These revolvers are not for sale with the case.
Dimensions are 16 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 4"...

Hi Folks.... I have here a .455 Hand Ejector Mk.2 Mod.2
Apart from the somewhat obvious sighting changes it is in original good condition; tight lockup , good trigger and shoots great with my 260 gr. handloads. It has no military marks at all. Does seem to me unusual to have a pinned front...
Hi folks... recently obtained a .45 H.E model 1917 Brazilian contract revolver. Usual "less than pristine" condition for these models, but seems to be a decent shooter. It has the Brazilian crest over the date 1937. Roy says it was shipped March 1946. The interesting part is the serial number...
Hi... Recently acquired this Victory in .38 S&W. She looks like there has been a lot of "clean up" performed but locks and shoots well; bore is fine. British marks on the frame are practically gone but some show on the bottom of the grip frame. ( Not sure what they indicate). Grips are stamped...
