I've seen in posting in other forums that there was at one point a tool made to be used in fixing bent 45 ACP moon clips. Given the cost of those things now, it maybe a viable options to have them made again. However, in the interim, I would like to buy an old one if someone has one for sale...

Since I startd this thread I will end it with a summary. S&W e-mailed me a Fedex Express lable to send the gun back on their dime. The gun was mailed, received, fixed, and returned to me for duty within 7 days. All without charge. Good Job S&W! Thanks for your continued support for this gun...

I have one too I brought it in an auction at our gun club as part of a fund raiser for the junior program. Thought it was unique. I got it mainly for the 13 half-moon clips that were attached. Goes to show, good ideas is not unique. Will post a photo when I get it out of the storage vault.
