    S&W Mod 29-8 info

Nice gun, I used to have one, traded it in, and then almost bought it back. I could shoot golf balls from 25 yards with it. I had the same questions you did when I bought it so I called S&W and they told me it was made in a small run for a distributor in the Mid-West somewhere (I forget...

    How in the world? Cleaning?

I usually use a wooden toothpick to get the majority of it off and then soak the rest of the crud with some CLP or something a little harsher for about 10 minutes. That should get almost all of it. If not, a few more minutes with some CLP and your done. Good luck.

Wood grips: Jordon Trooper or Nill grips for Model 29 recoil management

Id hafta say that the Pachymeyer grips are far and away more comfortable and would give you a little less fatigue. They are nothing to look at though, ugly rubber. I usually shoot Ahrends grips on my 44's. They feel a lot better and they arent checkered to irritate my hand. Also, the 44...

    49 vs 438 Bodyguard

Hey guys, I was wondering your opinions on a new to me gun. I can either buy the new Smith 438 blue Bodyguard for $480 or a pretty much new with box 49 blue Bodyguard for $495. The 438 weighs 15oz and the 49 is 22oz. I like the finish and the lack of lock on the 49 but I dont know about the...
