    Flat point backwards

the reasons you should NOT do it..... it's not very accurate...ugly pushed thru holes in the right spot trumps clean holes all over the map. there is a ratio of air-to-powder in the case, whatever the caliber the cartridge is ....if there is too much powder and too little air for it to burn...

Thinking of going "Blue"-Dillon Square Deal B

don't go Dillon SDB... go the xl650 ....costs a little more , but you will be glad you did. i have 2 xl650's ...a lyman T-mag ....and 2 rcbs rock chuckers and all my dies will work with any of them. i might be wrong, but i think only the dies made for the sdb dillon can be used and no other.

    .45 ACP "Cocked and Locked"

the only 2 things that ever wears out any spring no matter what it is in or on is... A. a defect or flaw in the spring. B. exercising the spring...constant compression then relaxing of the spring. leaving it static ....that is compressed 100% of the time...or static "not compressed" won't...

    686 Target Load

don't give up on coated bullets. commercial bullets are usually too hard (brinell 18 and up!) they make them hard for shipping reasons they don't look damaged after being bounced around in a truck. i make my own alloy to 11 brinell which for me is perfect i powder coat load and shoot....zero...

need help with a spring...how to install

thanks!....that is exactly how i figured it went. i can see a fork tongue on one leg of the spring and the other leg is solid. so i look inside and there is matching fork tongue "wear" on the top of the trigger ...so i'm guessing that the solid leg rides in the tiny slot in the trigger. will...

need help with a spring...how to install

uncle gives me a old 38 top break....wants to get it shooting again. too much wrong with it. but i'd like giving it back in one piece. this appears to be a trigger return spring....its "V" shaped and has a notch in one leg of the "V" (see pix) i think it goes back into the area that the...
