Current setup is Shield .40 with 8 rounds of 180 grain HST on board, in an Alien Gear cloak tuck 2.0 @ 4-4:30. Extra 6 round mag in cheap multi tool pouch @ 8:00 on my Wilderness Tactical instructor's belt.
No, I'd say we're still on topic. I'm just trying to make sure I don't feed my pistol something that causes premature wear problems or any other catastrophic problems. I appreciate all the insight I can get. I'm going to try and get by a few LGSs and see what I can come up with to try.
Thanks for the info. Most of the .40 I practice with is of the 165-180 gr. variety. I doubt I would go any lighter for carry ammo. One question though, are the velocities you mentioned for 4.5" duty weapons, or for shorter barrels such as the shield?

I'll throw a vote in for the UpLULA. Great product. Saves the hands and gets those mags topped easily. Definitely better than some of the more basic units and worth the extra $.
I've had a 9c for a little over 3 years. Love it. Shoots great and it's more accurate than I am. Would love to have the new trigger installed, but that's for a later date. Might have to aquire a 9 or 40 fs someday. Picked up a Shield 40 yesterday and can't wait to throw a couple hundred...
