I had the SW40VE Allied Forces (Black slide) and it was awesome. Completely and utterly reliable. Trigger sucks, yea, and it kicks kinda hard compared to some others, but I would trust my life to it any day. You will love it. It fit my hand well too. Fun to shoot. Some will trash talk it...

I wouldnt buy a Springfield (for the reasons stated above) or a NEW Colt (Lets face it...Colt is slipping these days). I would much rather have the S&W or a Dan Wesson. S&W 1911s...I have heard NOTHING bad about them.

Sweet, thanks alot beemerrider...we all know the DA pull needs much work on the P-series Sigs! My next gun will be an M&P9Compact or my old M&P9 regular back. The compacts are growing on me...the girlfriend likes it too and I want her to be armed because of where she lives. OR should I save...
