No one has talked yet about boards. It doesn't matter what the CEO wants if there are board members that are not just "yes men". Too many are staffed by those who only want to agree with the top management, take their check and go home.
I was going by the often heard command "Lock and load".
In Idaho, the law reads a loaded gun is one in the chamber or one that a pull of the trigger will bring a round in position to fire". That is what it read in the mid 80's anyway,
And of course how many people can handle the recoil of heavy recoiling calibers like 9mm. Lets face it a hit from a 22 lr is worth more than a miss with a 9mm. And 2 or 3 hits with a 22 lr is more lethal than only 1 hit with a 9mm due to the much slower recovery time between shots.

A tool box that fits inside the topper can be screwed to the bed with lag screws and a good lock put on it. It isn't going anywhere. The trouble with that is it looks like easily pawnable tools. Get it covered up with junk.
Hornaday swc and wc bullets used to be swaged not cast. They are soft and 900 fps would be as fast as I wanted to push them. I would look to buy bullets from a private company that are already powder coated.
You can plug the barrel with a piece of paper towel , pushed as close as possible to the chamber. Just mark your rod to 2" before the chamber.
This is a great description of cerrosafe.
In November in Montana I have encountered temperatures from -10 to 50. Snow some years can shut things down or you can be in short sleeves. I-80 is the furthest north route I would consider. You might run through Nevada N to S and cut across NM.
If your canopy is lockable I would feel better...
We load ammunition, insert bullets into magazines then shove them into pistols. If a firearm does not have a bullet in the chamber, it isn't loaded. The magazine might be but the gun is not loaded without one in the chamber. The operator might be loaded after an evening at the bar.

Saami pressures for the 9mm and 40 S&W are equal. 9MM +P are higher than 40 S&W and 10mm. I can find no results when looking for heavy bullet explosions with the 40. As a reloader, I understand that filling the case to the bullet base is the best way to prevent set back. Many agencies are now...
No trash pick up out in the county. I take in mine once a week as well as that of an 87 yr old friend.
The county sends out a pass you hang on the mirror every two years. No pass, no dumping.
I retired from a utility in 2018 but renewed my CDL in the case I needed to work again. I let it expire last year. I don't miss the view from the high cab.
