I find the Galco Miami Classic to be more comfortable than the Bianchi X-16. The Galco harness straps pivot at the spider attachment whereas the Bianchi is riveted tight and does not allow the straps to pivot. The good news is that you can order the Galco spider harness in an extra large size...
I don't have night sights on my S&W's but when the trijicon tubes faded on a G17 I sent the slide in and specified green front and yellow rears. Came back as requested at no charge!!! Gotta love a company that stands by their products...
Well the owner of the 1006 that I hoped to buy has had a change of heart. Seems the 3rd Gen addiction had its hooks in deep and he couldn't bring himself to sell. Oh well:(
First it was a lightly used 4006, followed 6 weeks later by a nice 4516-1. Thought I was done, now I am looking at a 1006 with adjustable sights and less 100 rounds through it. Is there a cure? Pics to follow if it follows me home.
Another thumbs up for Trijicon..I sent in a slide with out of warranty sights and received it back at no charge! Can't recommend more highly...I went with the green front and yellow rears...works for me.
I have been carrying a full-size Colt Govt. in a Milt Sparks Versamax 2 for while so I figure the shorter barrel will be more noticeable from a carry perspective than the 2 oz or so of weight savings.

Thanks 18DAI...Did not win the lottery, but I realize I did get a great deal on the 4516-1. Now I need to find some spare mags for it and get to the range.
Well, the 4516-1 followed me home after I parted with $380!! It looks to be in pretty good shape and very lightly used. One of the two magazines (both yellow follower type) appears to have maybe been used once. No box but I am not complaining. Pictured with recently acquired 4006.
