I wish S&W would make a Mod 29 Revolver Rifle like the Taurus rifle.
16.5 inch bbl with a picatinny rail designed so you could use the iron sights with the optic removed.
I have killed several deer and pigs with a 44 Mag rifle. It is as good as ANYTHING out to 125 yards.
SMOKE, I understand your situation. ONCE UPON A TIME when I was on the JOB I was an URBAN PIONEER. I lived in a good apartment complex in a bad part of town.
Kinda like the TV SHOW Beretta I actually lived on my Beat.
I recommend you stay extremely vigilant at ALL times. In truth I recommend...
I much prefer the S&W Mod 38 Bodyguard I bought in 1972, for pocket carry over any little semiauto. It has been my most used number 2, ie backup gun. I NEVER leave the house without it, except on Special occasions when I feel I need something bigger as a No2. And many times when I carry a...
I have been carrying the 1911 since the 9th grade, circa 1967.
MY current EDC is a Wilson Combat XTAC Compact.
Wilson's are kinda spendy, but they always seem to work 100%, in my experience.
MY LIFE IS WORTH IT.
The best canned chili I have eaten is the Walmart brand, Great Value.
Also their canned vegetables are as good or even better than most others.
Not saying I am a great fan of Walmart, but where I live it is only one of two places to grocery shop.

Do you have a 600 Nitro Express rifle???
If so tell us about it...
I will also add that IF I had ever seen a 4" 25-2 modified like yours I would have bought it...
I can also say that I keep a S&W 325 NG [45 ACP/Auto Rim], under my pillow every night.
The 4 3/4" is my favorite.
I have been carrying a USFA in 45 Colt the last two deer seasons.
I am carrying it crossdraw in a Mernickle holster, very comfortable.
I started shooting a S&W Mod 25-2 in the early 1970's.
Later in the early to late 1980's I carried one as a Duty Gun. I think that it is one of the best revolvers on the Planet.
In fact IF you do not need the Power of the 44 Mag, I think a S&W 45 ACP/Auto Rim revolver is the best choice for a...
RE, what is a Snubby...
Many years ago I used to shoot in "Snub Nosed" revolver matches.
The rule was it had to be a factory revolver, ie no custom barreled competition guns, and the barrel had to be 3" or less.
This was back in the day where the Chief Special was the only revolver offered...
Let me add that I do not recommend them for self defense.
Several years ago a friend of mine, and his wife, that owned a gun store, were robbed by a young black male with a handgun.
He confronted the wife and the register with his gun, and demanded money. She produced her S&W Chief Special...
I have extensively used shotshells in handguns, as has the wife.
Back in the day I bought the Speer yellow plastic shot capsules and loaded my own. Since CCI/Speer started loading them as a factory item I just buy them.
We have killed many, many snakes with them in 22LR, 22 Mag, 9mm, 38...
